LWC Skater Sponsorship Application
Requirements & Instructions
To receive sponsorship for a US Figure Skating qualifying event listed below the application form must completely be filled out
- Skaters may receive up to two different sponsorships per membership year. For example: 1 NQS event and Sectional finals, or Adult sectionals and Adult Nationals, or Excel Series qualifying event and Excel Series final, NQS event and National Showcase etc. However not two NQS events (such as Sun Valley + Sherwood last season)
- Entry fee or up to $250 based on based on number of events, board approval and club fund availability
- Must be full member in good standing
- Must submit proof of skating (copy of registration receipt) in competition for which you have applied. If funds needed before registration please reach out to lwcofficers1@gmail.com
- May apply for reimbursement up to 45 days after the competition occurred
- Please allow at least two weeks to receive your check at rink
- Must be member at time of competition (renewed for the season it takes place)
- Starting 2025-2026 membership year volunteer hours must me be met from previous year to be eligible. If new member in the season they are requesting sponsorship they must make plans ahead of time to volunteer at an event that year
National Qualifying Series
All levels are eligible, including basic skills
Pacific Coast Singles Final (Sectionals)
Must qualify, Juvenile + above
US Figure Skating National Championships
Must qualify, Junior + Senior only
Adult Sectionals
All levels are eligible
Adult Nationals
Must qualify, Adult silver - Masters Junior Senior
National Showcase
Must qualify, Preliminary - Senior & Adult Bronze - Masters
Collegiate Championships & Invitational
All levels are eligible
National Solo Dance Series + Final
All levels are eligible
Excel Series + Final
Must be registered for the series thru US Figure Skating and competing at a sanctioned excel series event
